Ralph the Whale Shark is dead....... Georgia Aquarium :(
|
Sorry to hear this
Ironically, I got to the bottom of one of four IO pails I purchased from Reefwerks a few months ago and found a t-shirt in a plastic bag. On the front of the shirt, it says, "The World's Largest Gerogia Aquarium uses Instant Ocean The World's Best". On the back is a pic of two sharks and the caption reads, "Ralph and Norton" swim in to too!" |
Poor Ralphie..
|
That's sad  But....a 6.5 million gallon aquarium? I could get into that :)
|
Sad news, I wonder if they will ever know the cause. Maybe they should try and keep fish under 20ft!!!
|
Aw that's so sad. :( I see according to that article you posted they have 3 others. I thought it was only the one. Hopefully the others continue to be OK.
I'm hoping to go down and visit this aquarium later this spring. It really sounds like a fabulous facility. Bummer they've had some sad news these last few weeks. |

That's pretty cool, thanks for the link :)

Tony--
Atlanta's a great city--lived nearby for five years. Absolutely beautiful in the springtime! If you've already visited, I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't already know! You can catch a Braves game while you're there--but make sure not to cheer for the visiting team. I made that mistake once and had to make an early departure from the stadium for fear of my life  |
If you do go also check out the World of Coke museum and the underground very cool
