Sand sifting goby- which one?

Hey everyone.

Im currently thinking of getting a sandsifting goby for my reeftank. Which type of goby does the best job at sandsifting. At a store I was told dragon gobies make huge holes- then I was told that a certain goby with a white body and yellow head is the best for sifting since it only does the surface and doesnt make very many deep holes.

Just looking for some advice on which goby to buy. I have lots of diatoms and wanted to have a goby to clean it. Would the dragon goby be ok or will they make big holes?

Thanks.

Yellow head gobies tend to take the sand and then swim up while the sand is filtering through there gills and cover alot of your corals. I've had the best luck with orange spot gobies. Just be aware they tend to jump when spooked .

No holes other than it's burrow under a rock. One negative is would it would take a mouth full of sand, raise of the bottom, then sift and sand would go all over the LR

Stay away from the dragon gobies, I removed mine because it was killing corals by dumping sand on them continually.

I have a Sixspot Sleeper Goby and all I can say is heis amazingly effecient. It also eats Mysis, so if he's not getting enough from the sand it won't starve.
