I am hoping that gmail won't have as much spam problems as my current hotmail account. Even using the spam filter, I get 5 or 10 spam e-mails every day on hotmail.

Spam doesn't get through gmail's filter, but you will receive an amazing amount of spam in your spam folder. Which is odd because what are the odds of those places guessing your email address if you never give out your email address to anyone but people you know? One of those things that make you go "hmmmm".

OK I have played around with the gmail for about 1/2 hour and already I like it ten times better than hotmail.
