This is a cool piece of software, well worth the price (free):

It only took me a couple hours to figure it out. It's not perfect, it's a little quirky, but it really makes it easy to visualize a project. I already caught a few design flaws with my 2D sketches thanks to this program.

Here's a shot of my new design:

Refugium on top? That's the way! Cool design and diagram.

Thanks.

My three SW tanks so far all have the 'fuge and sump at the back. I'm not sure how many critters make it through the powerheads/pumps in one piece... I might put my Mantis in there, but I'm still undecided.

I'll post some picts of the progress on this project eventually. So far, so good, but I haven't got too much built yet.

Dave: What are the ACLS units?

Dave C 10-16-2006 09:49 PM

It's in the works right now. Everything is on its way, though there have been changes to that equipment list... Deltec AP851 instead of AP701, dropped the FR509, added ozone & ozone reactor, UV, stuff like that. I'll post a thread when I have more to show.

It's the controller for the lights I'm getting. They're an Infinity XR4 HQI 3x250w MH, 8x39 T5. They are very cool, put it that way, ha. I don't want to hijack this thread so I started a new one here...
