100 Micron Filter Socks
 

have some 4"x14" 100 micron filter socks for sale. Perfect for you sump! Made from from polyester felt with a 4" plastic ring on the inlet. I use these on my reef tank and rinse them out every 4 days or so as they do trap a lot of detritis, great for polishing the water! $10 each plus actual shipping. PM me for info.
I don't have the holders for the filter, but the second picture is the simplest idea I've seen.

Do they get rid of bubbles too? Is this what people typically use on their drain outlet?

Yup great for cutting down the bubbles and polishing the water. They clog up pretty fast but rinse them out and your good to go!

Does the 4" ring snug up to your drain pipe? How do you attach them?

I ended up using them both... one over my drain output and one over the skimmer output to reduce bubbles. Worked great!
