JEBO ODYSSEA MH lights
Does anybody have one of these units? I am looking for feedback on the pros and cons from people who have experiences with them. Their prices seem very reasonable and I can anticipate many people will speculate on "you will get what you paid for". However I would like to hear it from the horse's mouth .... if there are any horses out there with this system.

Do 175W HQI bulbs exist?
I thought there was just 150 and 250? |
175w
No they don't exist and I don't really know why they are advertising them as such. The funny thing is their replacement bulbs advertised at 175W are actually 150W HQI bulbs when you enlarge them. strange people.....

The prices do look very reasonable compared to other similar products. But then you have to factor in shipping and other hidden costs.

I have the 18 inch unit for my 30 gallon cube.
It is awesome stays extremely cool both on the ballast and the fixture. The company was great to deal with all around. |
Hey Chin,
Maybe do a quick search on RC (if you can ever get through). I remember a couple fires caused by these units due to improper wiring. Also, 175W DE bulbs apparently DO exist, but aren't really that popular and only used mainly in Europe. Where would you even begin to look for a replacement bulb in that case? |
