Which heaters would you use?

Ok for my new tank(90g 25G sump) I wanna do things right I'm going with 2 heaters. I have Visitherm, Tronic, and a new style Ebo Jager(not fully submersible). They all have worked well I have prefered the tronic cause its smaller and subermersible and the visitherm cause it's submersible and lifetime warranty.
which heaters would you go with? and what size?

I use 2 300w Submersible Ebo's on my 70g. But I'm rather sure they never turn on due to the halides. :)

I am happy with my ebos, I would go with 2x250w so that you have backup if one fails. I also have visitherm, and no problems with it.

won titanium heaters are great, will never break and they have a seperate plug with heat control that is out of the water.

SeaHorse_Fanatic 04-18-2006 05:38 PM

None of the above. Just pack them up & ship them to me. I'll pm you my contact info. Thanks Murminator.

No seriously, have been using Ebos since 80s without any problems. Ebos are big though but that's why I now have sumps, right.

The new ebo's are submersible, they're just not allowed to claim that. Call/email ebo to check.

But the won ti's are my preference.

Lmao!

The two visitherms I've had in the past, both have proven to be garbage. I have 2 50W ebos, and have never had problems with them. They do a fantastic job on keeping the temps and they are submersed as well. I'd go with those.

Just my 2 cents but, I had 2 of the Won titanuim heaters and they both lasted less than 9 months each. I won't be buying them again. I now have 2 of the Ebo's and so far so good.
