Zoanthid eating Nudibranchs
ok it seems I have a out break of these little guys. Today I have found 5, who knows how many I have left im my tank.
Is there a way to get rid of them? natural / chemical. thanks. |
Do you have any pics?? I suspect I have them as well but am wondering what they look like in relation to the zoos.

here are some of the little guys from my tank. You can tell how big they are by the dime.
I found some good articles on RC. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...hreadid=533167 http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...shpicks222.jpg |
lots of fresh water dips. Then search for eggs. Quarintine the zoos if you can and re-dip them again in a couple of days. If you only have a few zoos they will starve after awhile, but if you have lots they will do some serious damage. There is a great thread on reef central that explains how to manage and ensure a nudi free tank by using their instructions.
Good luck. |
I have read threads on RC and Frag exchange on these little buggers. If you search for threads by Mucho Reef he/she has done a lot of work and experimenting to control these pests.
