Flatworm...
How much FlatwormeXit do you use per gallon. I've lost my instructions.
Also. Does anyone knwo if it has an expiry date. Thanks |
I believe it's one drop per gallon
|
One drop per gallon. You can double it without problem. Remember its not the exit that causes tank problems its the toxins given off by the dieing flatworms.

Oh amp it up! I did one treatment with the recommended dosage, then another at double the rate... now I'm convinced this isn't Flatworm Exit, rather flatworm food and spawn conditioner,... , as I now have just as many if not more than when I started.... errrrgh!
There's a great article about these in Coral mag... for now I'm just leaving them and going with the natural approach... |
I just did it tonight... my sandbed has never looked so white or clean.
Basically Siphoned out as many as I could find.. Added 1.2drops/gallon. Siphoned any dying Flatworms out in the first 15 mins with my turkey baster. Turned on my prepared Active Carbon in a canister. 1lb/50g. Siphoned out another 20% of the water. Did a 50% water change with matching Salinty, PH, Temp. Everything looks to be fine and I had an obscene amount of Flatworm. Will post in a few weeks if they have returned. Feedback for the next schmuck who wants to FW exit. |
