I've been invited to a christening.......... I've never been to one........ any ideas on approriate gifts to give?

some sort of keep sake, like a porcelain figurine (like a precious moments one), or a fancy children's book.

A small gold cross?
A commemorative box with an engraved plaque (XXX's Christening) to put the gown, etc into...
A picture frame.


Actually I have no idea.. but if the family in question is chinese.. money in a red envelope never goes wrong... :mrgreen:

I'm going to need ideas, too, come to think of it. My new granddaughter will be Christened sometime soon...

Not chinese ........... if they were ...... that would be a no brainer ;)
