Phos-X
 

I was wondering if anyone has ever used Phos-x in their tank. On the box it says for fresh and salt water aquariums. I am kind of leery about using it in my tank though.

I would use Rowaphos or Phosban. I'm not familiar with Phos-X. The problem with the "regular" phosphate sponges is that it releases back into when it gets saturated. Not so with the Rowaphos or the Phosban. But it tends to be pricey. Although a package will likely last you a while..
