transporting frags?

I'm just wondering what is the best way to bring a frag to the party? Is a small bag with plenty of water OK? Should it have any air in the bag or will that matter? I've never been to one so what's the best method? I assume a small cooler or something might be a good idea to help hold the temperature?

Baggies with water, or, old margarine or ice cream buckets, things like that.
