long tenticale anenmone info

So I have a small one i set it in the tank at a location and it has stayed there should i leave it there for a more centel postion or will it move to a new spot if it's not happy

I have just the regular tank circulation water movement and there is a powerhead also but neither flows are directed in the spot of the LTA should i have more flow on it so as it's tenticale are flowing around ?

Also I have fed it a little bit of mysis it seemed to take it i was also told to give it krill Any idea or suggestions to keep it happy?

The only thing i have seen is when the lights are off for a few hrs it streaches out on it's foot then the lights go on and it lays out and enjoys.

I vote leave it alone. Anemones will move if they're not happy so if it's staying put, then the creature must think its ok for now. Be prepared though because it may still move in the future. My LTA stuck its' foot into the rockwork where I originally placed it & has never moved so I have been very lucky.

I've fed mine pieces of prawn & scallops & it seemed to really like the scallops especially. I now feed infrequently & that seems to work. According to wetwebmedia, overfeeding is the major cause of death among captive anemones. Hope you have very good lighting.

LTAs & BTAs are the easiest to keep anemones, although none are really for novices. Continue to do lots of research to make sure you are providing it with the type of environment required & make sure all intakes & powerheads are well covered or completely inaccessible or it might get sucked in.
