Wrasse ID please
Picked up this guy yesterday and having a hard time finding the exact ID. Anyone?

Thanks guys, I also stumbled accross a site that calls is a multicolored wrasse. At least now i can reserach it more.

Ryan's link states they grow to 5" in the wild. We had a 4" blue sided fairy wrasse for over a year, first in our 72g bowfront then in our 120g. Brought it when it was just less than 2". Constant swimmer, big eater, liked to swim through rockwork and sleep in rockwork.

I haven't been able to find much on this fish, only that it isn't really recommended for beginners or even intermediate aquarists. I hope I haven't made a mistake by buying it, I guess I fell for the oldest weekness we have. " Pretty fish.....ok I'll take it." Everything I've read though indicates that it is a well behaved fish. :biggrin:
