Rose Bubbletip anemone attacking colt coral

Rose bta detached itself from one rock and landed on a colt coral - spent most of last night stinging the colt - this morning the colt was one twentieth of normal size.

Do I have to be concerned about the colt dying and releasing toxins etc.? Or is it likely for the colt coral to come back? I've had experience with xenia and a rose bta and the xenia are pretty tough.

I'd just move the colt and give it lots of circulation. Aside from that, you'll know pretty fast if the colt isn't going to make it -- they deflate and start to flake/rot around the base of the branches.

I knew colt corals could get slimy when stressed, but didn't know about the rotting around the base - thank you for the advice.
