Skimmer options......
 

Hi all, just had a horrendous 2 days as my 72g bow sprung a leak.....

Everything is now in its new 90g home, which brings me to my question...

Currently have a Prism Pro Deluxe and I am thinking I need to upgrade my skimmer to something a bit beefier.

I will be adding a 25g sump late this week so would like to have a skimmer in the sump.

Any suggestions will be appreciated and if anyone in the Victoria area has something approproate for sale.... let me know.

I had a 72 gal bowfront spring a leak about 3 weeks ago too. Was your's an All-Glass?

No mine was Oceanic, but I have heard many of the bowfronts leak eventually.

Where did yours leak from?? Mine was in the middle, back, bottom...if that makes sense.....

Will not buy another thats for sure.......

i can't belive how many stories ive heard about leaking bowfronts!

Mine seemed to be leaking from the left hand side at the back. Now with it empty I can't see a problem with the silicone. :question:
