Is this enough lighting for a 73 gallon aquarium?

I wont have many corals.

For softies and zoos you should be all right, though my opinion of the Coralife PC hoods is diminshing over time. They look nice but I'm not as thrilled as I once was about their light output.
I'm horribly biased, but for any tank I ever set up again it'll be HO T5s unless I have the space and money for MH.

I have the same hood except in a 65w on my 50 gallon FOWLR. It is fine as it is basically just light for viewing. The coraline is not very fast growing though with the minimal light. Other than that I'm happy with it. I will never have any type of corals in it so I see no need for big lights on it.

I have the same lighting except 2 separate units, one 48" and one 36". That way I have over 5 watts per gallon on my 90 gallon. I need to change the bulbs every 8-9 months for sure. It works well so far but I do not have clams, hard corals or anemones. I noticed that they offer a unit with MH. Very pricy though. Has anyone tried those?

How deep is your tank? I'm sure that the light should be enough for low light corals like mushrooms, and certain softies if you put them up high enough. I ran the 2x96watt unit on my 33 gallon for a couple of months before switching to MH and was happy with the unit.

I have monti digitata growing in two different tanks under these lights. I wouldn't recommend it for SPS but for most other LPS and soft corals they work very well.

I'd recommend getting the dual bulb setup at least. That way you have 192 watts over the tank.

My tank is 24" high. It wont have many corals or none at all. It will be a FOWLR. The reson I am getting this is because I dont have as much money as I wish I did.
