why is it that anything made by norton is a HUGE resourse hog?
|
|
better = way smaller! so far so good...
dumped all my norton stuff - bloated beyond recognition. |
I can't compalin about norton :) One of my clients get me a new one every year :)
I heard that Russian one....... Kamensky or something like that is pretty good. Cheers, Vic [Veng68] |
What drives me BONKERS is how many things it breaks.
Norton used to be really good. But Norton Firewall, XP firewall, and hubs just don't play nice with each other. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get remote desktop going on MCE. Arrrggghhh!!! You wouldn't believe how friggin PAINFUL this crap is. Sigh .. off to waste another six hours trying to get this stupid network going. |
I installed Norton GoBack by mistake the other day... my computer crashes when I try to remove it...
|
I have NSW 2005 Premier...I get the new one every year "FREE" if you know what I mean....I have had no problems with it yet, am also using a router with firewall and had no conflicts with it either...allthough I will agree it is a hog, but the only resource I leave running is the antivirus option...
