HELP my sand star is melting
 
Hey everybody,
My sand star is melting..
all five legs have seprarated and are sitting in a pile on the substrate I assume that it has croaked but I thought I would check just in case this is how they divide? any input is appriciated

i had a red serpant star that lost all its legs. it hid behind the rocks for 8 months, i actually thought it was dead because i never saw him. woke up one day and he was crusing around with skinney new limbs.. im not sure what to say.

Sand sifting stars need huge amounts of sand bed critters to survive. If you have a small tank it likely starved.
