Adjusting salinity
 
Just noticed that my salinity is way too high. I assume that my best option is to slowly bring it back down as opposed to fixing it right now? 55gallon. 1.03

Slow and steady over the next several hours and you'll be good. It's only .005 difference.

Yeah, going down in salinity can be done relatively quickly. Going up in salinity os a different story...

You meant to type .004, ya?

1.026 is ideal

And ya, I agree with dropping it over hours is OK.
Going up is different and must be slow, but you can safely drop from 1.030 to 1.026 over a matter of only 4 hours (my personal preference).
1 point per hour.
