That's a big bristle star!

And it is 3D printer :)

Have been tweaking the printer for the last few weeks and finally started getting decent prints.

Very cool design! How big is it? Does the printer come with its own cad like system, or are you using a different kind of design software?

It's about 7 inches in diameter. The design was already done by someone and shared in a 3D design website where everyone shares their design.

It is a reprap 3D printer so open source. You can use any software to design and there are free software to change the 3D design to codes that the printer can read. The 3d printer community is flooded with open source stuffs. And the cheap printers are now-a-days better at printing than many of the expensive ones.
