Random Rant

Tubes of super glue... 25% super glue and 75% air... C'MON!!!
Bought like 5 tubes and 4 of them turned out to be mostly empty ugh. Just my off topic and random rant hahaha

Dollar store stuff ? Ugh, been there.
I've calculated it's cheaper to buy Ecotech's Coral Glue, rather than Lepages Super Glue Gel
And damn close to Dollar Store prices. Don't waste your money on the cheap junk !

Walmart Lepages 4ml - $9.98
Price per ml = $2.50
J&L Ecotech Coral Glue 75ml - $27.90, 295ml $69.95
Price per ml = $0.37, $0.24

Even if the Loonie Plus tube is 4ml - $1.25
Cost per ml (if the bottle is good) = $0.31

Better off spending 30 bucks and use the good stuff for $0.06/ml more
And I've never had a bottle of the good stuff dry up.

I get the stuff from Lee Valley. Satellite city or something like that. Thinner than Ecotech, but doesn't gum up in the nozzle as readily should you forget to refrigerate it. And it's a bit less $$$

Never tried the Lee Valley stuff. Will have to get some.
Never had Ecotech tips plug up, just don't get them wet and put the cap on right away.

Did have 1 bottle once where I had to ream the inside of the tip with a drill bit as it was too small to flow.

Huh, never heard of refrigerating them before. Will give the Lee Valley stuff a try and keeping it refrigerated.

Agree 100%!

I used to buy tube after tube of dollar glue and that LePage stuff, then someone told me to try Ecotech Coral glue. Granted I don't buy much coral but I've been using my tube or CG for over a year and it's still going, I even use it for regular repairs around the house. It has never crusted over either.

I do have some fancy new cement to try but I haven't bought any corals for a while so watch this space.

I have Always used gorilla super glue gel. $7.67 cdn = $0.38/ml. Pretty similar to Ecotech in my opinion and I'm at Home Depot enough so it's convenient :)
