Not a grani, I would lean more towards A. gemmifera but my SPS ID is pretty rusty.

Someone call the master... The Coral Master.

I was also told by my lfs where I got it that it was a deep water acro but not sure.
Is that right?

The first one I don't know. It doesn't stand out to me as obvious. The second one may be a lokani - touch to say for sure until you get a growth pattern out of it. It's definitely a "deepwater" type.
