sponge? ID please
I felt in love at first sight, Ron from King Ed Pet charged me an arm and a leg for it. I bought it without knowing what it is. I saw it at the display tank, and boom, its mine... I am pretty sure its a type of sponge or a filter sorta thingy (I know is not gonna last long neither). its light blue. size is perfect for my tank (3" tall 2" around) I asked Ron what it was, he was like "ahhhh its a sort of LPS" with a heavy korean accent... I was like...sure buddy... just bag it for me please. I make sure that he didnt expose the coral to the open air, he had a dirty look at me when I said that. he thinks that I was crazy or something lol..
first pic is overall look (its right above the candy cane) http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps6tv0wzhv.jpg second pic is a macro shot of it. http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...psem4wg9qm.jpg |
Blue lollipop.
They're actually tunicates;) It's very puuuuurrrdyy |
Pretty. Where can I buy that?

I'm pretty sure our friend here grabbed the only one they had. Given how difficult they are to keep you don't see them too often

Lollipop
Did try keeping these tunicates alive twice far as i can remember even with direct phyto feedings they turned brown/black after a while i agree while alive these lollipops are like breath of fresh air blowing into roomful of stale air

Well I almost spotted another place you could put another frag then realized thats where the jawfish likes to hang! Looking good Sean. Put me on the list for tunicate if it thrives in your tank

beautiful coral. I love to wheel and deal with Ron. |
