Spotted drum fish
 

Just wondering if anyone has had one of these fish and if it's possible to get one.

Judging by the rarity of them in the wild, i Highly doubt you could get one, and if you could it would probably be pretty expensive and extremely difficult to keep alive. They also can't live in very much flow, thats why they live in caves in the wild.

don't think I've ever seen one but they are for sale at least in the States

rare in the hobby but not so much in the wild.

They actually have a fairly wide range.

They get a premium in the aquarium hobby overseas but can be bought for a reasonable dollar on this side of the pond...mainly because they just aren't that popular.

An adult drum fish get to be a good size so you would need a large tank
