RW8 or RW 15 Jebao
I currently have a wp 25 and a tunzie 6025 mounted opposing at each end of my 90 G tank thinking of upgrading to either a RW8 which has a little more flow capability than the wp 25 or the RW15 quite a bit more than the wp 25 but could slow it down to suit. I'm hearing that the RW series has a lot wider flow pattern than the WP series
Thoughts and opinions welcomed. |
I would say go with the RW8 for a 4 foot tank. The RW15 is substantially larger so it would take up a lot of space

I have 2 RW8 in my 4 foot 120 and run them at 6/8 power. That gives me plenty of flow and no dead spots I can see.

I have two RW8s in my 6 foot 150g dialed to max and they are perfect for me.

I have one RW8 in a 40G on the lowest setting possible. It wouldn't hurt to get a RW15 and just run it on a low speed. It leaves room for future upgrades and doesn't wear out the pump as much.

I have one rw8 in my 3ft frag tank and it makes a back and forth wave. I probably get about 1 inch of lift on each side. Sps loves it and the rw8 is just above half gph. This unit is also very quiet for me.

Thanks all for the input, just ordered a RW8 from Reef Supplies. :canada:
I'll put the new RW8 on one end and a WP25 on the other end opposing and see how that goes. |
You could sell your WP25 to fund another RW8 and then they can talk to each other, might give you more options
