sps t5 bulb combo
 

So its time to order some bulbs and I was wondering what you guys are using for a sps t5 tank . I was looking at getting 4 ati blue+ 3 aquablue specials and a Fiji pink .Some say this washes sps out others love it. Im looking for a 14k look with decent pop but nothing to rave club , so any suggestions are welcome .

On my 6 bulb I run 4 blue+, 1 purple+, 1 super blue (actinic) and Im
Pretty happy with my color spectrum. My sps love it and still has the color pop I like im my tank.

Toytech I would look into the ATI coral plus bulb , it's a white bulb with a little blue and a little red mixed in. Most people that don't like the aquablue special because it washes things out ,love the coral plus bulb.

Best I've seen was all ati. 4x blue+ , 2x purple+ , 1x coral+ and 1x aqua blue special.

I used to run 4 blue+, a Fiji purple and a coral plus (or kz next gen) and i really liked it.

Its actually not as blue as it sounds. When just the two outside ones are on it is one blue one actinic, and when they all come on it is actually kind of a pinkish blue. I think the purple plus is the same as fiji pink? and the other actinic is more purple than blue. I believe a few other people run the exact same bulb colours, because that is where I got the idea from. It may not be ideal, I'm not really sure. I do know my sps seem to be growing like crazy. The coral plus sounds pretty interesting though, I haven't seen those ones.

Im using all ati bulbs
5 x blue plus
2 x coral plus
1 x fiji purple

I find this is about 14k and gives the corals a good colour rendition.
