Nassarius Snails
 

Greetings,

Anybody knows where I can get some Nassarius Snails for my tank? Also, do you know what the small white spirals on my live rock is?

My tank parameters are: salinity 1.024, nitrite 0, phosphate 0, Nitrate between 0 n 5 ppm. My tank has been running for almost two months.

I know big Al's had some nassarius, but that was a few weeks ago. Might want to go take a look.

As for the little white swirls, I believe they are Pileolaria worm casings, harmless to the tank.

I think GOLD Aquarium will get a shipment this Friday.

I have bought them @ Golds & Pisces & both usually have them if you haven't already got some by now!

I think the white things you are talking about are pineapple sponges.... Leave them be. Google it & see if the pictures match...
