Coral ID

Its yellow with slight hint of blue tip. Don't really know the name and hence can't determine the requirement.

Thanks :)

LOL,... love playing that game...

But it looks like a nice one if it is really yellow. Is the colour correct with your WB? And where did you get it?

Yap I adjusted the color to daylight with WB (my lights are around 15k so had the WB at 15k) and its actually yellow (well atleast for now :P) with slight hint of blue at the tips. Got it from concept on boxing day sale. They had two of this.

Have you tried a manual WB using the sand bed or something else white in your tank to register it? I found that gives the best actual colour.

Definitely a nice piece, though. Have you tried finding a match on the internet?

Haven't tried the sandbed test yet. My camera's manual WB can be set only upto 10k or something so I always end up adjusting it with photoshop. Would have to see how sandbed looks with PS adjustment. Thanks for the idea :D

The closest I could find is this:

What do you think?

Don't think so. Acropora Yongei looks more like a green slimer, but with blue tips. Yours looks a lot less fuzzy.

Yah noticed that after posting  I am keeping it at high light for now and see what happens. I will put some fancy name later

Any resemblance to this? Has blue tips and light colored base.
