cyclop-eeze and skimmer
 

bought some frozen cyclop-eeze cubes for a candy cane frag. Turned off the pumps spot fed the frag then eventually tossed in the rest of the cube. After pumps back on skimmer went crazy, this normal?. Volume is ~200g.

I put a cube of mysis + a cube of cylopeeze with some tank water and selcon and dump it in the tank with no affect on skimmer. But maybe different brands of cyclopeeze might contain different additive that may cause skimmer to go nuts?
