Check what my spiny cuke managed to get himself into. Good thing it was off all day...

Lucky you. I too had the same happen to me. No cucumbers for me.

Now how do I get him off the glass?

Ya, it's not really a matter of "if" but rather more like, "when?"
|
A sea cucumber destroyed my gfs tanks a few weeks ago. Killed every single fish. You people that keep those are brave

He likes the current but I don't think he's smart enough to stay far enough away that he doesn't get sucked in...
P.S. I ended up moving the power head. |
Moving the powerhead might be a temporary solution? If you are using a sump or reactor; have some extra carbon ready in case the sea cucumber decides to wander into the powerhead or decides to self implode ;) .
I have a tank of anemones and its inevitable that some unfortunate event will happen....no matter how well you plan. So.....I try and have an 'emergency' kit ready for such occasions (which includes high grade carbon and extra reactors). |
