BAYSIDE CORALS [edit] Group Buy YYC

Anyone interested in doing a group buy from FragBox?

Delphinus 12-04-2017 04:06 PM

I could be persuaded. When would you like to do it? I could probably manage it if we did it right away. (I'm away for a week though starting next week, so that's why it would have to be "really soon". Sorry!!)

bades 12-05-2017 05:37 AM

I'd be interested!!

Ryancw 12-06-2017 03:04 AM

maybe in, send details

Fragbox YYC group buy

There is no solid plans right now, trying to get answers from fragbox is like pulling teeth.

What I know so far is over $499 is free shipping to YYC airport, Under $499 is $40 shipping to my door(but all the orders have to come from & be paid for by me)

Once the first order is placed they will hold any frags for 1 week, so anything new that pops up in that week we can snatch up and have shipped all together.

It sounds like starting boxing day they will have some good offers and be posting lots of new frags. I'm thinking place the first order Dec 26 and then watch the site close and snap up any new sweet frags until Jan 2.

I am available to pickup from airport on Jan 3 & can float bags for the day or fragbysit for a week or so after if people are away. Pickup would be in Acadia SE

I guess what we need to know now is who is in and an estimate on what they will be spending.
I'm in for $200-$300 depending on selection

jalemboo 12-06-2017 05:02 AM

count me in too

Ryancw 12-06-2017 02:16 PM

I'll be in for $~200

jalemboo 12-06-2017 07:55 PM

maybe 60-80 for me. Are you still waiting for Christmas for the order?

cil311 12-11-2017 06:36 PM

I might be interested in about $50

I'm in for $80-120.

Willito 12-13-2017 02:50 AM

March is telling me there is no longer free shipping regardless the size of order.
To me that defeats the purpose of organizing group buy. You'd be better off ordering solo and having it shipped individually at your convenience rather that waiting on other people.

Tigweldpro 12-13-2017 03:43 AM

fragbox?

Ya I'm pretty frustrated with trying to get answers from them. I was told free shipping over $499 for sure though. The homepage says 7 day guarantee but it says 3 days in policy. I just have to many unanswered questions.

its not looking good for the groupbuy.

Fragbox isn't the only vendor available, fortunately. I've also heard some good things about Bayside Corals as well and they get some pretty nice stuff in!

Website says free shipping for livestock over $375

Indeed, Bayside does have really nice stuff, just need more WYSIWYG pics along with price tags. Their website stock isn't current.

Hey guys, if you are interested in doing a group order we can fatten up the website with new arrivals tomorrow evening. Let me know what you guys would like to see (type of coral, colors, price range, etc). We have hundreds of corals in stock. We take pictures every Thursday afternoon and post them up on Facebook - usually we add a few to the website Thursdays too. The website is current - scroll to the bottom of the "Shop" page to see the newest uploads. It's just that the corals we frag and are pretty much always available are listed first on the website (we are working on improving the site). Yes, shipping is FREE if the subtotal is $375 or more. All in-stock Acros are on clearance right now too.

If we go with Bayside I'm in for some coral for sure.

Looking for rainbow acans, high end zoas and any rarer chalices up for grabs right now. Also do you have an WWC bounces in stock right now?

WarDog 12-14-2017 07:17 PM

I just uploaded 88 photos to Facebook. I'll upload a bunch of these to the website, if you'd like particular ones on the website so you can buy them let me know. The fastest way for a response from us (besides phoning during business hours) is Facebook messaging during business hours.

Enjoy!!! :D
