anyone know where to get 1/2in starfire glass in lower mainland or Seatle area?

Call around to different glass shops and ask for starphire or low iron glass (same thing).

Cheers,

Actually Starphire is a brand name marketed by PPG, Diamante(sp?) also sells a low iron product, often used when over 12mm thickness is required.

Check out this fact sheet. They have it up to 12 mm........ then I think you have to get laminated sheets.

thanks for that fact sheet, hope its incorrect on sheet size.48 x65 would be too short,I was lookn for a 48 x 96.But it dosent have to be Starfire,if thats the only length they have.Any low iron will do I guess

Veng68 11-06-2009 04:31 AM

I've heard you can get it 4X10 (48X120).
