Are these Rasta Zoas???

Hello everyone.
I was sold these as Rasta zoas.
Do these look like Rastas?

Also if they are not, do you know what they are?

Thanks for any help.

Cant ID for you other than they are NOT rastas.

Thank you!
I guess I got taken. I emailed the seller back and he is standing frim that these are a morph of rastas.

Who was the seller?

I feel very confident they are candy apples. They have the bigger size like people eater zoas while Rastas are much smaller like bam-bams or eagle eyes.

Definitely not Rastas or ultimate Rasta’s. My thought was candy apples as well however they don’t have the vivid coloration that they should.

to clear the air, i would ask for a photo of the mother colony.

frags will often look different than the mother colony as they are sometimes placed in a different spot in the tank. may need time to acclimatize and heal before they will regain and display actual colors. many things contribute to this.

that being said, still believe these are not rastas.
a pic of mother colony should at least let us determine what they actually are.

Agree with most %100 not rastas , and look like a type of candy apple that needs to get its color back

SeaHorse_Fanatic 04-10-2019 02:31 AM

Not Rastas. What may have happened is the seller was originally sold these as Rastas, which may explain why selling and insisting the frag is Rastas. But yeah, a pic of the mother colony would be a good next step.

Hey Anthony.
I haven't seen the mother colony. He only had a frag.
He was on Craigslist.
Should've looked harder.
My bad. Live and learn.
