Algea magnet on 3/4 inch glass

So my glass is 3/4 thick (guy that build it went overkill, but i dont mind). I was wondering what a good Magnet would be? wanted to use the flipper as it has a scraper build in, but it says max 1/2 inch glass.

Hammerhead or vertex are the only 2 I can think of

Chase31 11-23-2013 09:17 PM

id go with the hexaplex, the triplex would be pushing it

There's no comparison between the Vetrex Hex and the Hammerhead. Go with the Hammerhead. I have both

That went out the window with the 3/4" glass :)

Chase31 11-23-2013 10:50 PM

so the hammerhead will work with my glass? or will i have to get the tiger shark?

Aquattro 11-23-2013 11:07 PM

I have the HH on my 1/2" glass, so for 3/4, I'd go bigger.
