Try soaking the mysis in garlic.
Garlic helps edge them on to eat. Fish looove it.
Not garlic slices but just the juices of garlic.

Garlic

Look at lfs
for kent garlic xtreme soak algae with it for a bit or buy some algae with garlic added .use a clip or rubber band it to a rock. also have you notice any kiss marks on your glass that would be a good sign that its eating

This blenny is a herbivore. Just leave it as it is and see if it's picking at the algae on your glass and rocks. How long have you had it? If it's new in your tank, like 3 or 4 days, it may still acclimate to your tank.
BTW, how old is your tank?

My tail spot blenny started as a herbivore but now hes eating brine shrimp like crazy. He looooooves the stuff way more then algae.
If he doesnt go for the algae then you should try brine shrimp. There alot smaller so the blenny can eat them easier.

As a herbivore, the main diet of the fish has to be algae based food.
Is that frozen brine shrimp or live brine shrimp? It has been said that frozen brine shrimp has little nutrition that fish spends more energy digesting brine shrimp than getting energy from brine shrimp.
I don't have any scientific evidence to back it up. But I don't feed my fish brine shrimp, frozen or live.

Thanks for the info.. I bought it and they told me he was eating mysis...
I always feed my fish with vitamins enriched mysis and formula 2 pallets.

The tank has been running for about 4 months, maybe 5 and has no algae.

Thanks.
