Cost of Starphire Glass

Hi,

I was wondering how much Starphire glass costs?

I have a quote for $8/sq ft 1/4 inch and $16/sq ft 1/2 inch.

Is this a good price?

Cheers,

Sounds pretty good to me.

Cool........ now I have to learn how to make an aquarium :)

I've got a book on how to build aquariums but nothing beats learning from someone who knows how to build them.

I've got a line on someone who has been making them for years but we just have not gotten together.

Cheers,

It's really not that difficult to make a glass tank, what size are you planning?

I am thinking 2X2 cube.

even easier, that's an easy tank to assemble. Are you going rimless with the 1/2" Starphire?

I don't know........ I am kind of paranoid....... I may put in euro-bracing.

This project would probably be a whiles off....... since I have been procrastinating about cleaning up my basement and I really should get to it.

1/2" is plenty thick for a rimless 2 foot cube.

Entirely agree.

How do you post images?

I have a picture of something I want to do but I can't explain it.

Basically a 45 degree section of glass in the front. Here is some ASC art to try and show you what I mean.

I have a picture of the tank but I am not sure how to post pictures.

It will be more complicated then a normal cube.

Any suggestions?
