Clown fish & overflow...

Ok, so I have now lost 3 clown fish to my overflow/sock

I have tried the white acrylic over top of the overflow, I have tried nylons that I have hold in if there was ever a blockage

Any tips out there?

These fish are so funny when they sleep that they just get sucked over

Thanks again for any help

If your drain pipes are open put a screen on them so the fish just gets stuck in the overflow area and you can fish him out.

yeah just put a strainer on the top of your drain pipes then you can scoop the fish out of the overflow

What do you use? Like window screen? Or I guess I could just use the white egg crate stuff eh?

You can also use gutter guard from home depot. Line the overflow with it (I ziptied it to mine) and it prevents any sort of fish going into the overflow. You'll need to clean it periodically though.
