3d Printed Reefs

I wonder if this will be effective, long ..or even short term?

Infant technology.

I've read articles that propose using this technology from A-Z. A children's pen toy to manufacturing buildings on the moon. Almost anyone will propose a new use for 3d printers. A novel idea imo but unrealistic. Sinking a ship or standard method of concrete would have more value than printing out pieces and throwing them into the ocean.

Very interesting idea, but I don't think it would be very effective. You would have to print a lot of them and I don't think they are very cost effective machines.
I think Biorock or Seacrete combined with coral farming is a much more efficient and effective way to help restore our reefs.
