Never heard of it myself, but I just had to look at your thread when I seen the title "Red slime" in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum! :D

I have seen it referred to on RC and apparently it works - no personal experience though. I have tried Chemi-clean on a small Nano that had cyano and it worked but as with most things like this you are treating the symptom and not the cause. Find out where your nutrients are coming from or else it will just come back again. Mine was from overfeeding so it was pretty easy to cure.

Red Slime

Used Chemi Clean and it works amazingly quickly and well. Make sure to turn off any uv skimmers before you put it in though.

This should probably be in the reef forum unless you are selling the red slime??

Used the Red Slime stuff a lonngg time ago with no noticeable problems, but I'd suggest using Chemi Clean instead. Once again, you will still need to solve the problem of what caused the cyano in the first place (eg excess feeding, tank live stock load, not enough flow, skimmer efficiency....)
