My frags
 

Received some frags from FragFactory last week as part of a group order to Victoria. Overall, pretty happy with what I got. The only real problem is that my girlfriend and I each got a frag of Macaw Palys and most of the polyps on the frag she got don't look like Macaw Palys but rather like some other kind of plain zoo that we already have in our tanks (4th picture down). The Macaw frags also look nothing like the picture on the fragfactory website. It does say in the description that they are pink skirts but still.. what I received was dissapointing when comparing with the picture on the website.

One other problem.. nothing to do with fragfactory I don't think.. is that my nice deep red zoo frag (2nd picture) has disappeared. I can see the little white rock that they came mounted on but there is absolutely nothing attached to it. I was wondering if maybe the frag was glued to the rock and came unglued? Anyways, the zoos are no where to be found! All of my other zoos in the tank are fine so I don't think something would have eaten them... plus there is absolutely no sign of anything ever being attached to the rock. I really liked these zoos :sad:.

Heres the ones I got in the Victoria group order. I have also emailed Mike about an issue with the Peach Palys and to let him know my lava zoo was dying, and he hasnt returned my emails either:sad:

I am pretty pleased with everything. Excuse the colors on the pics, I just upgraded my tank lighting and it still has a few layers of screen on the top, and havent adjusted the color balance on the camera yet.

favia notice the tissue hanging off the left hand side, The rock it is on arrived
totally crumbled. We cemented the rock back together as what wasnt
crumbled was split in half. like an open oyster shell. the back side you can not
see is the worst. It looks like it will live tho.

lava zoo was damaged in shipping, notice the tissue loss on the left side? The whole left side is now rotted off.. and all polyps now appear dead.
Update: December 18... this zoo is dead.

MIke this was a huge group order.. I wish you would get back to us.

I also sent an email.
I properly aclimatized them as per borderJumper's suggestions.

My lemony isnt doing well, and isnt to lemony/blue at all.
The RIC is great!
The eagle eye palys are ok, a couple died off but the few left look good.
The Florida zoos are great!


Would like an update?

I spoke to Mike about the order because one of my sps frags was only a 1/2" when the website said 1"+ and it's dead now. I had another sps frag that's base was dead but the rest seems to be ok. Mike did write me back right away and said he would replace the 1/2" frag if it dies. I'm sending him an email today. From what other people have said, Mike is pretty good about getting back to you right away. In the occasions that he hasn't it's usually because he's out of town or something. He's always came across as an honest guy when I've dealt with him in the past and is pretty good about trying to make you happy so just bare with him and I'm sure he'll get back to us soon. I'll let you know if I hear from him.

Please if you hear from Mike ask him to contact Jeremy, Cameron, and myself as we all have at least one issue with the order. Shelley

Anyone hear from Mike yet? I would like my dead zoo replaced.

Sorry for the delay in responding as I just logged into CanReef. I have spoken to a few people, through email and PM's but please email me any issues and I will be sure to solve them for you.
