mini carpet nem help!

As the title states, I started to notice a bunch of ??fuzzy mushroom looking type growths in my 55gal tank about 6 months (if not longer) ago. What started as one or two, has quickly increased to well over I'd say 15. Another forum I am on had a member suggest it was a mini carpet hem as it is super sticky and does retract when touched. As they are reproducing so much is there a good way to remove them? Or help decrease the rate these guys are reproducing? Or does anyone want some so I can get rid of them (I seriously have a lot of these boogers)? Any thoughts on these would be super awesome!!
Or can someone ID if these are for sure mini carpet nems?

Sorry I can't post a pic...for some reason it is not letting me... that or I am totally doing it wrong.

and these could be maxi mini.Although a better photos would be best.I never heard of that much reproduction on the maxi minis unless the are cut up even then they tend to take a longer time to heal as their original round size.

they look like something you should sell not get rid of. mini-maxis can cost a lot. plus mushroom/nem lovers would probably love them.

yes, they are insanely sticky. I googled them and was thinking they were some form of fuzzy mushroom but their sticky factor threw me since my other mushrooms are not sticky at all. My shrimp and fish stay away from that area of the tank and even my snails don't tend to go near them when cruising around the rocks.

I am totally not sure how to remove them since their "bottoms" seem to be rooted pretty tightly in the rock and the piece they are on is a good size making it extremely difficult to remove from my tank.

I only wonder about them not being mushrooms since these guys seem to pop up everywhere...I have 3 on my glass, a few on my in tank skimmer, one of my thermometer..plus on some rocks away from where the bigger ones are.

Not sure what to do with them.... since none of my livestock seems to be effected just that these guys are taking over my tank.
