I have an old net and the mesh is abouit the consistancy on a ladys nylon. You could make your own with an old net frame and cut the toe out a nylon and stretch it over the frame. Just takes the extra fine particles out that I find is pollition more than food

I use an old fishnet from my 20g freshwater tank. For rinsing I just add another pint of fresh rodi
I do the same with blood worms for my freshwater tank as I like to get the frozen water off since I really don't know what's in there.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I've just been lazy about getting food ready on the spot. I'll change my ways and go back to the old tank water thaw method
I'm not even sure this was the cause of Cleo's demise, but it's a good time to develop better habits

For rinsing I use a $2 brine shrimp net and pour RO water through it

molotov, it's best to rinse frozen as you don't want all the excess oils in your tank feeding nuisance algae

Ginu, glad to hear your Kole found it's appetite for nori

The mysis I've been buying recently has to be the cleanest stuff I have used yet I thaw I dump with no straining there is no need compared to a few brands I've tried. Yes sure I prolly could strain it I just see no need and I'm lazy. ;)

Greg, nice pickups! The tank is looking great and even better once all the corals mature and starts to fill up!

Thanks for the nice comments

I just sold Smudge
He wasn't fitting in well with the smaller fish. They all got along but I had to overfeed the fox to get enough food to the little guys

I expect to see a calmer mealtime now and maybe a cleaner tank

Glad he went to a good home. Have you thought of getting a auto feeder?
I'm contemplating getting one next time I'm at j&l as I would like them to eat more often.

How many fish will you be adding in total?
I think I went a little overboard and I might be a little overstocked.
ATM in the 75 I got the kole(who's turn out to be a pig, eats everything and anything), one lyretail anthias, a flasher wrasse, a solar fairy wrasse, 4 blue/green chromis and two cleaner shrimp (one skunk and one fire)

I still have to add the livestock from my 34 cube which currently hosts two black ocellaris clowns with their anemone, a bicolor blenny, cleaner wrasse and a goby with his tiger pistol shrimp. And in my 10 gallon I have another tiger pistol shrimp with a sunrise goby buddy. I still have t been able to find out if two gobies and two shrimp can coexist in the same tank and I'm really attached to them :)

Think I'm pushing the envelope with that much livestock?
