BRS no longer ships meds to Canada

Apparently they have updated their protocols - so no longer ship meds to Canada.
It would be great to have people post their sources/methods for obtaining meds here.

If you didn't now, the Canadian Government put the Kibosh on all fish meds a few or longer years ago, and made all stores/retailers remove products from their shelves or face fines.
1 local retailer told me they/agents came into the store and removed products.
I don't remember the exact date ...

You will need to source whatever you need through Internet sellers who still ship to Canada, and hope your package makes it past the Canadian Border Services Agent who looks over your package.

I've in the past had shipments make it through which were labelled Pet Medication, but the last time I did order anything was over 2 years ago so good luck !

You may try here, but no guarantee they ship to Canada

Treatment for Red Bugs is this

I bought the Milbemax years ago but others report it still ships to Canada

Aside from what I previously wrote, your best bet is to search the Web to find your desired product - sometimes under another name - and see if the retailer will ship it to Canada.
Even then, there's no guarantee it will make it through Customs. And if it does, you still may face a fine/fee, so best of luck to you.

Your only other option is to purchase what you need south of the border at some pet store, and smuggle it back to Canada.
I'd recommend not doing so ....

You may be able to find a vet to get your prescriptions as well. I was able to get some medication prescribed for a bacterial infection, however they can only send within Ontario otherwise I would recommend.

Get your friends together, ship a large order to Sweet Grass, go across and bring it back. It's only 3 hours from you.

I show my reef tank and fish to my doctor and pharmacist every time I see them for a reason ;) I highly suggest it. Make sure to to be a good person and kind to others or it doesn't work.
