any risk exposing gorgonians to air?

I've heard conflicting ideas about if its bad or not. I want to drain my entire display tank move the tank and stand and refill it.

Would this harm my 5 types of photosynthic gorgonian corals? Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks in advance!

i leave them out of water for extended periods of time while im fragging them. If its more that 5 minutes, give them a splash every now and then to keep them wet, otherwise they'll be fine, i drain my displays 100% on a regular basis
