pistol shrimp id

Anyone ever see these pistols before? I found them while dipping a coral. They're very tiny, maybe a 1/2" long

Looks like a green banded pistol to me.

Look at the little fellas. Are you going to keep them?

I had those , hitchhiked on some live rock . Stayed very small but where kinda noisy .Never seemed to bother anything so id say safe .

+1, I've had these as well. They're freakishly loud for such small shrimp.

Cool, thanks. I'm going to keep them but just not sure if I want to release them into my tank or set something else up. I know I'll never see them again but it'll drive me nuts if I release them in to my large tank & they are loud and I can't find them to get them out.

Maybe there's more in your tank that you don't know about.

I doubt it. I found these two in a rock I dipped at work.
