The Grizz 08-28-2010 01:34 AM

How long have you had him/her? So you have an idea what you want for it?

If you're a nube to salt water fish keeping, a Copperband is not a recommended fish to start out with. They have a very poor track record in captivity.

If you're a nube to the forum and have plenty of experience, then pardon my hijack, you'll already be aware of that. It's just that I've read too many posts about these guys dying in fairly short order, even with experienced hobbyists... and I made the same classic nube mistake, purchased one without sufficient research. He did fine for a few months, then despite my best efforts and intentions, I watched the poor guy starve to death. One of the most strikingly beautiful fish, maybe that's why they keep showing up for sale at LFS everywhere, but my vote is to leave this species in the ocean.
