I am selling my 36" Glo T5 HO lighting unit. Used for about 4months. Comes with 1x 10K Aquamedic bulb and 1x KZ Fiji Purple bulb. Both 4months old.

$120.

just wondering because i ahve the 24 inch set up, does it get too hot if you have the light on a glass top?

o, and also do you like the aqua medic bulbs more than hagen, and can you get a picture of the light on a tank(with the lights on)?(have never seen the purple)

I'll try and get pics for you tomorrow. :)

I like the AM and KZ bulbs.. I find them very suitable, and fair prices too.

I don't really find they pump out much heat.. no where close to MH's.

i am using the same fixture and bulbs but 48' and 14k (wicked color for 2 bulbs). this is on a 45g the glass top gets warm but i have never thought it to be unsafe. i use the 24' (with hagen bulbs) on a fw tank on the glass as well and no worries.

well thank you both for the replies.
i wont have this fixture forever because its not even proper length for my tank, but i want it to be as good as possible while i have it

Forgot you wanted pics..

I have the light temporarily on my Freshwater tank, he is the lighting.. I got some film algae issues in the freshwater tank, so it looks to have a greenish hue in the photo, but the actual bulb color is way nicer.
