Does DI resin desolve?
 

When I filled this up 3 months ago it was packed in tightly?

I have never heard of it dissolving.
However, even if you packed it tightly, I think that it would pack itself better over time than you could

Ya I think I will just give the new stuff a week or so then fill in the rest
