Trying to recall name of a coral food

Anyone remembers that brownish powder coral food that was really awesome and corals used to go nuts for that? Used to come in very generic plastic bottle and was quite hard to find. The process was to mix the brown powder with water to make a paste and feed it to the corals.

Trying really really hard to remember the name but I can't. Any help is appreciated :)

I think you are talking about Acan Plus, it was once made by a guy in Airdrie.

YESSSSSSSSSS! Thanks Greg :D :D By any chance, do you know whether he still makes it?

I don't have any clue if he is or not. At one time it was a Red Coral exclusive and haven't seen it since RC closed.

That's too bad :( It was an awesome food and the corals (even sps) consumed it like crazy.

Yes it was, the guys member name was JMes but his last activity was in 2013

Yah probably won't be able to get any lead on that. Will need to find an alternative.

Sadly, it is no longer in production.

Thanks for confirming that. Any idea what would be the direct replacement of this? Reef frenzy or reef roids?

New life Spectrum; Reef Micro Feeder might be an option. The texture seems similar to what Acan Plus was. I can't say at the moment how good it is though.

On a related note I have been impressed with Neptune's Crossover Diet. It is in pellet form but my LPS like it a lot.
